Blowers

Roots blower/lobe compressor is a positive displacement, constant volume machine to operate against varying pressures. With each revolution, the compressor delivers a metered amount of media measured at inlet conditions. It employs two lobe impellers mounted on parallel shafts rotating in opposite directions within a casing closed at the ends by side plates. As the impellers rotate, media is drawn into one side of the casing and forced out of the opposite side against the existing pressures.
